Headquartered in Durham, HIG holds several states licenses and leverages its expertise and reputation to obtain the best contracts with premier insurance carriers who specialize in products geared to the senior population. Currently, HIG partners with more than 25 insurance carriers. We offer comprehensive training and back office sales support. We market Medicare and all senior market supplemental products.

We are looking to fill a Medicare Account Executive position on a contract to hire basis in our call center.  This motivated individual will work under the direction of the Lead Senior Market Specialist and responsible for selling and enrolling Medicare eligible seniors in Medicare plans and final expense insurance via phone. Additionally, you will be responsible for cross-selling existing and new clients final expense, supplemental insurance, and annuities.

They will also be responsible for the following but not limited to:

- Meeting business production goals and objectives as established

- Ability to adheres to policy, guidelines and procedures

- Assisting clients with online applications when needed

Due to our approach, technology, support, product suite and training, you will be excited to know that we’re offering a salary and potential to earn commission which is greater than our competitors. We also cover all license renewal fees and E&O Insurance.

Requirements/


Qualifications:

- Must have an active NC life, health, and Medicare Line of authority
- Satisfactory passing of the annual AHIP
- Must be an expert at generating leads independently
- Exemplary sales and one call close mentality
- A proven track record of success and win-win attitude
- Must be knowledgeable of social media and comfortable with using it
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable
- Be willing to sign a non- compete and nondisclosure
- Must be able to work in a small office as a collaborative team
- Must be able to contract with all major carriers and pass carrier certifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be technology savvy and know how to use computers and different software
- Must be passionate with working with seniors
